LISTA Emerging Technology Leadership Summit will convene some of today’s leaders in technology and Latino leadership along with case studies by some of today’s fortune 500 corporations. The Summit was developed for the small business owner, intermediate to advanced technology professionals, analysts and executives who want to ensure they benefit from ground-breaking information, techniques and technology employed by individuals who've proven successful in these endeavors for major corporations.

Target Audience
Our first National Latino Technology Achievers Award Gala Dinner event in 2004 was attended by 600 attendees. The 2005, 2006, and 2007 was attended by over 700 attendees each year. We expect Summit and Gala 2008 to have close to 800 attendees. The profile of attendees are small business owners, most are between 100, but a few with less and some with more, who are professional service industries. We are also excited to be able to work with our network of non-profit partners such as Cuban National Council, CAMACOL, LULAC, Perscholas and other organization – both regional and national.

L.I.F.E. Spring Event St Thomas University
"Networking is a powerful tool for personal and professional development" said to participants Darwin Rivera Vice President of MIS and Communications for the South Florida Chapter Board of NSHMBA. This statement was echoed by other professionals like Carlos Baldo, Chief Financial Officer of Rhino Paper and Marketing and NSHMBA member who share that his network "had been important in making career decisions".
Dr. Beatriz Gonzalez Robinson Vice President of Planning & Enrollment at St Thomas University thanked NSHMBA for their support of the L.I.F.E. program and encouraged students to take advantage of the mentoring opportunities that the L.I.F.E. program offers. Participants enjoyed a networking session that culminated with two free NSHMBA memberships to those that had made the most amount of contacts. Mr. Victor Cuesta NSHMBA Chapter Board President thanked all participants for their support and reiterated his support for the program and looks forward to future engagements.
